Overview

DAY 1

Nairobi – Aberdare National Park

THE ARK LODGE

Picked up at your hotel/airport by our representatives then drive northwards with views of tea and coffee plantations around the Aberdare ranges and Mount Kenya region. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge or similar. Accommodation : Treetops Lodge/The Ark Lodge

A celebrity hotel located on the dense forest where the 50 rooms are either single or twin with shared bathroom facilities. However, private or ensuite bathrooms are available on request. All rooms overlook the two waterholes and the peaks of Mount Kenya. Guests under 7 years are not permitted. Night observation of animals at the lounge offers exiting animal viewing with easy photography and comfort.Night visitors expected are Rhinos, Elephants, lions, bushbuck, warthog and night birds.

DAY 2

Aberdare – Lake Nakuru

SAROVA LIONHILL/NAKURU LODGE

Breakfast at the camp/lodge then have a game drive around the northern part of the Aberdare ranges to descend into the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the Thompson Falls in Nyahururu.Then proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving on time for lunch. In the afternoon have a remarkable game drive that includes Flamingos as well as the rare white rhino in this world famous ornithological paradise with over 450 species of bird life.

This Lake is famous for its thousands of flamingos. A shimmering hot-pink glow emanates across the Lake, created by millions of flamingos which migrate along the Great Rift Valley Lakes. Pelicans, cormorants and Marabou storks also feed on the abundant algae in the warm, shallow alkaline water.

DAY 3

Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha

NAIVASHA SOPA/NAIVASHA RESORT

Breakfast 0630hrs then drive south along this scenic valley to Lake Naivasha. This is one of the Rift Valley’s fresh water Lakes with different ecology from that of the soda Lakes. The lake is also a home to a large variety of bird species

Lunch at the camp/lodge then proceed to take a boat ride on the Lake, viewing hippos and a wealth of bird life.

DAYS 4

Lake Naivasha – Masai Mara

SAROVA MARA/MARA SOPA/MARA SENTRIM

Breakfast at 0630hrs then leave the camp for maasai mara game reserve climbing out of the Rift Valley. Lunch at the camp/lodge and be ready to experience some of the best game drives in Kenya’s most exciting game reserve.

DAY 5

Masai Mara Game Reserve

SAROVA MARA/MARA SOPA/SENTRIM LODGE

The Second day in the Masai Mara. At 0730Hrs, After Morning Breakfast, you will depart for a Full day Game Drive with your Picnic Lunch Boxes. You will explore The Masai Mara National Reserve, visit the Mara River which nearly boarders Kenya & Tanzania,here you have a chance of seeing Crocodile. You have the better part of day to spot more animals, i.e Lions, Cheetahs,Elephants and if “Lucky” spot the Leopard and Black Rhino which are the rare animals to see.

You will have an opportunity to have your Lunch under a tree in the plain Savannah surrounded by Zebras & Gazelles. After Lunch, you will return back to the Camp with a Game drive en route, arriving at the Lodge by 1600Hrs. Dinner & Overnight on a Full board basis (FB) at Sarova Mara Game Camp-5 star Camp/ Mara Sopa – 4 Star/ Mara Sentrim – 3 Star.

DAY 6

Masai Mara Game Reserve to Nairobi

At 0700Hrs, After breakfast you will depart the Masai Mara and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok. From here cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift valley whilst keeping an eye out for herds of Gazelles before heading up the rift escarpment,you will then arrive into Kenya”s bustling capital City Nairobi, then proceed to the World famous “CARNIVORE RESTAURANT” for Lunch.

You will have an opportunity to taste some kinds of Meat such as Beef, Goat, Lamb, Pork,Chicken, Fish,Turkey, Crocodile, Ostrich, Camel and deserts. After Lunch, depart the Restaurant for Nairobi Airport where you will be dropped off at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi Hotel (Approximately 270 Kilometers.)
